Worcester Mayor’s visit to WPCC

Categories: Fundraising,General

At the end of 2017 we were very pleased to welcome to the Mayor of Worcester Steve Mackay and his wife. Both were invited to join staff, volunteers, trustees and members to find out a little bit more about the charity and the work that we do!

The Mayor very kindle gave a short speech where he mentioned that Worcestershire was particularly proud of the charities that are here, and for the hard work that they do. He went on to say that without support from volunteers many small charities across the county would struggle to operate and thanked the WPCC volunteers!

As a thank you to our volunteers the Mayor invited them for a tour of the Mayors Parlour at the Guildhall in Worcester and a cup of tea with him!

Keep an eye on the news page to find out how we got on, or check out our twitter feed for up to date news!
